Poker Profiles: Erick Lindgren

Erick Lindgren keeps a mean record at Poker. That is a fact. His six final table finishes and more than $4 million winnings so far is enough to prove that he is someone you cannot mess up with. Being tough at the Poker table is mostly due to his previous job at a California casino. His gambling friends showed him the way but once he learned enough about betting and taking chances, he was left on his own. Lindgren's quick lessons on gambling are enough to get him far enough in the Poker world which only shows that the guy has talents, too and a lucky hand to beat.

Appearing in live Poker tournaments is what Lindgren mostly busy about. Both Poker fans and fellow players dig his presence because of his amazing abilities and down-to-earth persona. He is such a joy to watch and play with because he never pushed himself around. Maybe his good attitude is bringing all the money, or was it his Poker skills? No matter what, the definite thing is that we will see more of Lindgren in the years to come. Only in his 30s, many believe that there is more in store for this young player.

At present, Lindgren is busy frequenting the elite circuit while playing on the sidelines of online casino sites. When he started at age 24, he was quite unsure where to begin. But good fortune and good luck lead him to succeed. In about two years of appearing at Poker tables, he was able to make a name for himself. His first big paycheck was from a No Limit Hold'em pot amounting to $3,000. He had won this by joining the Bellagio Five Diamond World Classic event during the latter part of 2002.

The following year, he consistently made it good, earning millions of dollars. The biggest part of that huge amount came from an UltimateBet Poker Classic win, which awarded him more than $500,000. The year after that, he got the elusive World Poker Tour Player of the Year award. The succeeding years after 2004 were spent hanging out with the famous pros and the excited newbies.

Lindgren was a propositional player for a time and has helped a lot of dreamers realize that they, too can make good in Poker. He is also a regular at the widely popular Full Tilt Poker room, oftentimes hidden by the name E-dog. When not earning money from cash tourneys, Lindgren is mostly busy with his sports, his friends, and his favorite hangouts.
